The Patterson Wedding

What a PERFECT day for a fall wedding. Seriously - close your eyes and picture a gorgeous fall wedding...this was Matt and Brooke’s big day! It was a true Pinterest wedding brought to life. Brooke left no detail spared.

The girls started their day getting ready at the incredible Fortsville Plantation. This property dates back all the way to the 1790’s - talk about historic! Brooke looked like a bride out of a fairytale from the moment she began to slip into her wedding dress. The bridesmaids wore dusty rose and muted green colors that paired perfectly with the remarkable backdrop of the plantation.

We wrapped up the morning with a first look between Brooke and her dad...Every part of every wedding is special, but I’m pretty sure daddy/daughter first looks are my absolute favorites. I mean...LOOK AT HIS FACE!

We headed to the groom’s location next. What an awesome group of guys! They certainly kept us laughing. Brooke gifted her groom with a unique gift that was for his eyes only. ;)

When we arrived at their venue, The Barn at Hillcrest Farm, the weather was giving me all the heart eyes. There were the prettiest antique doors to hide the bride before she walked down the aisle. As those doors opened, Matt was able to see his bride for the very first time and I practically melted into a puddle on the floor watching it all unfold.

As the ceremony concluded, we took some portraits of the family and bridal party before the reception started. The night opened with the most precious first dances before dinner was served. As much as I hated to do it, I asked Brooke and Matt if they would sneak out of dinner with me because the sunset was too perfect to miss...I am SOOOO glad I did. These are definitely my favorite portraits of the entire day.

Following the sunset, the guests partied the night away underneath the beautiful barn lights. There were lots of hugs, laughs, cheers and so much more. Everyone capped off the big day with a stunning sparkler exit to wish the new Mr. and Mrs. love and happiness!
