What a FUN night that I had with Genna and Justin! I will start off by saying this couple is pure #goals. Seriously - two of the cutest people ever. They both live in Austin, TX for their jobs but will be returning to Virginia for their wedding this coming November. I was over the moon when they were able to make the trip to Virginia to finalize weddings plans and fit in an engagement session.
It was 96 degrees outside, but you would have never known. They were happy, adorable, and such a blast to be around. Most of the time when you first meet people, it takes a while to warm up, but not with these two. I felt like I had known them forever. They are so kind and easy going, and I loved getting to know them.
We started at historic Main Street Station in Shockoe Bottom followed by the canal walk and finished up overlooking the Richmond cityscape at Libby Hill. All of the different locations made my creative heart so happy. The chemistry between these two is absolutely undeniable.
One of the coolest things that I learned about Justin and Genna was how they have lived in so many parts of Virginia. Justin grew up in Lynchburg while Genna’s parents currently live in Charlottesville. Then they both met at Christopher Newport University near Virginia Beach, then moved to Richmond together, and NOW live in Austin, Texas for jobs (very cool jobs I may add!). I love this part of their story - it was so interesting.
I am really looking forward to their beautiful country club wedding in Charlottesville. Hurry up November!
