The Ashworth Wedding

PHEW! I honestly didn’t know if this day would ever come, but I am SO glad it finally did!

I originally met Marie back in 2019 when she booked her May 2020 wedding. Well...we all know what happened in the Spring of 2020. Marie moved her wedding date, then had to move her date again. We finally landed on August 15, 2021. I am honored to have been able to share a part in this season with Marie and Randy.

Marie took each curveball throw at her with grace and understanding. She knew what had to be done, and did it so excellently and effortlessly. I know now why each postponement was so disappointing and challenging for her. She planned a perfect day down to the tiniest of details.

We started the day with everyone arriving at Celebrations at the Reservoir. It wasn’t much longer into the day that Marie and Randy shared their first look. Randy knew Marie was gorgeous, but he was truly in SHOCK. Everyone surrounded them with love during their waterside ceremony. The breeze coming off of the water was heavenly (don’t forget..it was August 15th...the hottest of the HOT). We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each and every one of their family and friends. You can tell that family and loved ones mean the world to this couple.

A delicious dinner was served at the reception. Everyone had such a good time dancing the night away. Marie was glowing all night and I caught Randy several times throughout the night standing in awe of how beautiful his new wife was. It was precious!
